Hi there and welcome to my corner of the inter webs.

I’m Sophie and I’m currently querying my second novel which is Historical Fiction with a splash of ancient magic set at the time of the last Roman invasion of Scotland. I think of it as The Eagle of the Ninth meets Thelma and Louise – unlikely allies, an argumentative female road trip and the costs of choosing your own freedom.

As you may be able to tell, I’m currently in the process of building this website so please bear with me as pages appear, disappear, move locations and generally misbehave. Once I’ve got the structure sorted, I’ll start blogging which will likely be a series of brain dumps about the process of writing a novel, trying to get an agent and my paramount love for tea and a good biscuit.
